Home Support Services:

Helping Senior Citizens and disabled citizens with household chores, meal preparation and shopping so they can remain independent in their own homes and to support their families under stress of being overburdened with responsibilities.

Income Tax Program

If you are unable to complete your income tax and benefit return by yourself and are unable to pay for assistance, the Rimbey FCSS Community Volunteer Income Tax Program may be for you.

Rainbows

A program which assists children coping with significant loss in their lives, such as parental separation or divorce, death, or another painful loss.

Community Kitchen

Community Kitchens are small groups of people cooking together to pool their knowledge, skills, energy and resources to make nutritious meals for their families.

Healthy Families

An early intervention home visitation program designed to support families by providing a nurturing, stimulating and safe environment for their children from birth to the age of five. Families with new babies may be offered home visiting services specific to their family’s needs.

Elderly Abuse Awareness

We are pleased to announce that we have received federal funding through the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program. This grant will provide us with the funds to proceed with our project of expanding awareness of physical, verbal and financial abuse in elders.

Christmas Hamper Program

Individuals in need can apply to receive a food hamper that can include toys and clothing for their children just in time for Christmas.

Volunteer Visitor Program

This program is designed to help enrich the lives of seniors, shut ins and people in need of friendly contact by supplying visitors to provide companionship and contact with the outside world.
